More applications do not always create better results. Before repeating the same approach alone, try WorkBC. Its services are not limited to people with no job; underemployed workers and people in unstable work may also be eligible.
What a Centre can help with
Self-serve resources can include computers, scanning and copying, job postings and labour-market information. Personalized support and workshops can help organize experience, goals and a practical application plan.
Not every client receives every program or financial support. Even so, an outside review of your résumé and target roles can improve the next application.
You may not need to be unemployed
WorkBC also describes support for people with unstable hours, work that does not match their skills or other forms of underemployment. Ask a Centre about your own situation rather than assuming that having any job makes you ineligible.
Specific programs may depend on immigration and work status. In the first conversation, accurately explain whether you can work and how long your current status lasts.
What to bring to a first conversation
You do not need a perfect résumé. Bring the version you use now, two or three interesting job ads and a short history of your work. Naming one type of role you want and one condition you want to avoid makes the conversation more useful.

Centre or online
If a Centre is nearby, an in-person first visit can make questions easier and show you the available equipment. Online Employment Services can support applications and secure communication when travel is difficult.
Hours and service delivery differ by Centre. Use the official map, choose the nearest location and check whether an appointment is needed.
Change one thing after the meeting
You do not need to apply every suggestion at once. Rewrite the résumé opening, narrow the target role or practise one interview each week—then observe the result.
WorkBC cannot guarantee a job, but it can help you move past a cycle of repeating the same application without feedback.
